Mug Swap 2017

It’s one of my favorite parts of the year!  I found the Mug Swap via Instagram and I’m going to tell you right now GO FOLLOW @themugswap asap!  She organizes this large endeavor out of the kindness of her heart AND all entry fees (usually about $5) are donated to a charity.  This year it was the Gary Sinise Foundation.  When she opens registration, you need to fill out a form listing your social media handle and likes/dislikes so your buddy has an idea of what kind of mug you might like to receive.  You can throw in some extra goodies with your mug to make it super special for your mug buddy!  Which is EXACTLY what my buddy this year did!

My partner was the completely GORGEOUS inside and out Sherry from @willworkforpaper!  She made my box SO special, #ICANTEVEN.  I mean, look at this paper!  The detailed folding she did blew my mind.

She wrote little hints on each tag.

“Because cute stationery never hurt nobody!” – the coffee cup paper pad and lipstick pen!

“To pamper yourself.” – the nail polish holder that you put on your finger while you paint your nails (I literally just Pinned one of these to my Pinterest wishlist… SO COOL!)

“To put a little Cali swag in your iced coffee.” – the California-themed ice cube tray which I’ve already filled with coffee and they’re in the freezer waiting for my next iced cup!

“Bringing you some aloha spirit (my fav. cup of joe)” – I can’t wait to try this!!!

“I’ll take gold foil on everything, please” – the pack of thank you cards with, you guessed it, gold foil!!!

“Have yourself a cup of morning motivation” – the MAIN EVENT: a coral coffee cup with white and gold text “I didn’t get out of bed to be ordinary”… GIRLLLL she nailed it.  Amazing.
